Gokyo Lake and Everest Base Camp Trek

Embark on a 19-day adventure through the heart of the Everest region, combining the beauty of Gokyo Lakes with the iconic journey to Everest Base Camp while passing through the challenging Cho La Pass at 5,420 m.

Inclusions: 

  • Accommodation: 14 nights in traditional Nepalese "teahouses" during the trek and 2 nights in a hotel in Kathmandu of minimum 3 stars rating.

  • Foodwise: 3 meals a day (including 3 hot drinks) during the trek, while in Pokhara or Kathmandu bed & breakfast

  • Licensed trekking guide that provides you safety, flexibility and a good time during the trek.

  • Airport transfer service upon arrival and departure in Kathmandu.

Itinerary:

**Day 1: Kathmandu Arrival**  
Arrive in Kathmandu, where our team will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel.

**Day 2: Flight to Lukla + Trek to Phakding (2,610m/8,563ft)**  
Fly to Lukla, then begin your trek to Phakding, following the Dudh Koshi River and passing traditional Sherpa villages.

**Day 3: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,286ft)**  
Trek to Namche Bazaar, the bustling hub of the Khumbu region, with stunning views of Everest and Lhotse along the way.

**Day 4: Acclimatization Day at Namche Bazaar**  
Spend the day acclimatizing in Namche Bazaar. Optional activities include a hike to the Everest View Hotel or exploring local markets and museums.

**Day 5: Trek to Dhole (4,200m/13,779ft)**  
Ascend through beautiful rhododendron and pine forests to the village of Dhole.

**Day 6: Trek to Machhermo (4,470m/14,665ft)**  
Continue trekking to Machhermo, passing waterfalls and enjoying views of the surrounding peaks.

**Day 7: Trek to Gokyo (4,790m/15,715ft)**  
Trek to Gokyo, where you can admire the pristine Gokyo Lakes and the towering Himalayas.

**Day 8: Gokyo Ri (5,360m/17,585ft) Sunrise View + Trek to Thagnak/Dragnak (4,700m/14,420ft)**  
Hike up Gokyo Ri for a breathtaking sunrise view, then descend and trek to Thagnak/Dragnak.

**Day 9: Cho La (5,368m/17,612ft) to Dzongla (4,830m/15,846ft)**  
Cross the challenging Cho La Pass, enjoying stunning views, and then descend to Dzongla.

**Day 10: Trek to Lobuche (4,910m/16,109ft)**  
Trek to Lobuche, following a trail that offers spectacular views of Nuptse and other peaks.

**Day 11: Trek to Gorakshep (5,170m/16,962ft) + Visit Everest Base Camp (5,364m/17,598ft)**  
Trek to Gorakshep and continue to Everest Base Camp, where you can marvel at the Khumbu Icefall before returning to Gorakshep for the night.

**Day 12: Kala Patthar (5,545m/18,192ft) Sunrise View + Trek to Pheriche (4,250m/13,944ft)**  
Hike to Kala Patthar for a stunning sunrise view of Everest, then descend and trek to Pheriche.

**Day 13: Trek to Tengboche (3,867m/12,687ft)**  
Trek to Tengboche, home to the famous Tengboche Monastery with panoramic views of the Everest range.

**Day 14: Trek to Monjo (2,835m/9,301ft)**  
Descend through lush forests and traditional villages to reach Monjo.

**Day 15: Trek Back to Lukla (2,850m/9,350ft)**  
Continue your descent, passing through Phakding, and return to Lukla.

**Day 16: Flight to Kathmandu**  
Fly back to Kathmandu, where you can relax and reflect on your trek.

**Day 17: Departure**  
The day of your departure we will transfer you to the airport, bidding you farewell until your next adventure.
